About Us

Imaginocean Productions is an Australian production company specialising in films and communication tools about science and the environment, with a strong focus on community education.

We are based in Hobart, Tasmania, but are available to work across Australia.

Producer/director Chloe Lucas has worked in science media for ten years. Chloe has been involved in documentary production for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and other broadcasters. With a degree in English Literature and a Masters in Environmental Management, she can draw together arts and science to communicate complex issues in an entertaining way.

Research director/producer Tim Prior specialises in community-based management of natural resources. Tim has worked with a range of communities from Filippino fishermen to cane farmers and Indigenous Australians. He has a degree in Marine Biology and a Masters in Social Science, and is currently studying for a PhD, examining the way people make decisions when preparing for bushfire.
